Well our second Supercross season is in the books. Doesn’t seem long ago that we rolled up to our first race at A1 last year. Its an amazing feeling to see the idea of a team like this come into fruition. It takes a lot of people and a lot of man hours to make it happen!
We had some pretty high expectations coming into Supercross 2012 that we worked really hard towards. One of them was to get Matt Moss onto the podium. We were able to show the industry that through hard work and a solid program we can take a guy that was under the radar and transform him into a guy fighting for podiums. We were able to make that one happen.

Hey guys, Matt Moss here. Thought I would check in and let you all know whats been going on with me these past few months.
With the break in the west coast series it gives everyone a lot of time away from the race track. For me its been a really productive 2 months, I went from the Australian outdoor series, straight into Australian supercross and then with in a few weeks was racing flat out in the AMA supercross. Its just been good to take the time to push my training even further with out the travel and pressure that comes with racing every weekend. Right now I am feeling the fittest I have ever been in my life. A break in racing also meant we could put some more time into testing and developing the bike. It was already a great package but as I become faster the bike needs to be constantly updated. Working directly with the guys at WP suspension has been great, they seem to make things happen!

Well the past two rounds haven’t quite been where we want, results wise. Working with Malcolm and Pj most days through the week allows me to see that they are putting the effort in! With so much work comes the expectation of results.
Round one on the east coast was ok but it really went downhill at round two in Atlanta. Malcolm was out front leading his heat when he hit the ground hard! So hard that he loosened some of the connections of the wiring loom. Luckily the bike quit working on the start line of the LCQ. Better then on the face of a triple.

Since the birth of JDR back in 07 in the goal has always been to come to America and race the best guys in the world. 2011 marked a massive year for us with our move across the pacific, diving head first into AMA Supercross. Since then it has been a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows. Everyone on the team has worked extremely hard to make the JDR team into the best possible program it could be.

4 rounds in the books now and I feel like I am really starting to get some steam. I think at the end of the day I under estimated the competition out here. Coming off awesome results in Australia I though I was where I needed to be at to get some good results.
A1 is done and dusted. The boys rode hard to put it in the main and came away with a great based heading into round 2 next weekend.
